I was only able to go on this trip because of mom. A few months after she passed away, I received a letter telling me that she left me money from her teacher’s pension. She always said that she regretted not traveling more. She was even planning a trip to take after Covid died down. Just something for her to look forward to. I planned and took this trip in her honor. She also left several nates to a few people. Mine mentioned the song 'I Hope You Dance.' I love you mom, I wish that I had told you that more often.
When she bought her new car. She was so happy.
She loved her trip to Alaska with her childhood friend Carol Ford. She was still talking about it years later.
Her First Communion gift from 1950. She gave it to me after my First Communion in 2016.
When we went to the Joan Jett concert a couple of months before Covid hit.
From back in the day. 1970's or 80's I think.
The very cute but very very wild Lyla.
From a drawing by one of her Pink Palace Museum colleagues.
With Weasley (the dachshund) and Daisy (the pointer).
All of us together one New Year's Eve.
Either from her college or graduate school graduation.
At the Cathedral of the Immaculate Conception High School.
She said this statue from St.Pauls NYC was exactly how she pictured the Vigin Mary. I always think of mom when I think of this statue.
Mom with the Griswold Christmas Vacation mug I bought her one Christmas.
She could be a little 'eccentric' sometimes. I think this had to do with an old carpet.
Mom with a very sleepy Weasley.
For as long as I can remember she said that she wanted a picture of Gina Lollobrigida on her headstone so people would think it was her. Well, here it is.
Mom and her grandchildren whom she loved so so much, Grace and Will. Grace is now in college.
What a hairdo.
Her ID from the Pink Palace Museum. They did get her birth year incorrect.
